This website has many useful activities for English learners especially for ESL/EFL. For example, there are quizzes, word games, word puzzles, proverbs, slang expressions, anagrams, a random-sentence generator and other computer assisted language learning activities. We can practice listening, reading, pronunciation, etc at this website. I think those activities can increase learners’ interesting and motivation; therefore, I would like to recommend this website for ESL/EFL.

What is mind mapping?

Mind mapping is a new idea about making note.
First, we can find out the main idea and write it down or draw it at the center of a paper.
Then, we develop the branches which are the second, third… ideas and so on.
And the main point is making it as simple as possible. Therefore, finding out the key words or main sentences is important. Besides, we can collocate with some pictures to help us to memory the ideas.
Finally, we will get our mind map.

I think mind mapping can help us to save time on memorizing and it can show the main idea easier.

I think both of the two blogs are good for us to learn the new knowledge we don’t know. They introduce web 2.0 very clearly and also show us how to use tools to learn English. Such as Odiogo, it is a tool which can read our articles; thus we can practice our oral with it.

Besides, I understand how to use those tools more effectively. Since I used to use youtube to watch video tapes or entertainment programs but now I know it is a useful way to learn new things by myself.
